You're not done.
You're just done doing it for someone else.
This next chapter gets to be yours.
discover your consultant success typeYou don't need another coach.
You need someone who's already done it.
Most coaches have never built an 8-figure business. Most mentors have never put their own money on the line. I have—and took it all the way to a successful exit. What I teach isn't theory.
It's what I actually learned doing it.
Hi, I'm Tricia Dempsey.
What building it taught me
Along the way, five beliefs emerged — and they shape everything ThriveHive teaches.
1
The best consulting businesses are built by women who know exactly what they're doing and are done chasing something else's definition of success.
Your experience isn't a starting point here. It's the whole point.
2
One employer. One decision made in a boardroom you weren't in.
One restructure, and decades of loyalty can mean nothing.
This isn't just about income replacement. It's about building financial security.
3
The client who needs you most is paying for inferior solutions right now because she doesn't know you exist. Getting in front of her isn't pushy.
It's your responsibility.
4
The freedom to decide. Who you work with. What you work on. How you show up for the people you love most—like the elderly parent who needs you on a Tuesday.
Does this give you more choice or less? That's the only question that matters.
5
The loneliest part of building a consulting business isn't the hard work. It's doing it without anyone who truly understands what you're going through.
Real community. Real coaching. Real accountability. People who know what you need next.
How it started, how it's going…
2002
Newly diagnosed with breast cancer and mother to a two-year-old, Catherine, I could have waited for a better time to start a business. I decided there wasn't one. My first business, Agile, an IT staffing and consulting business was born.
2005–2015
The most grueling grind of my life. Twelve-hour days, and a personal life that was quietly falling apart. I was so proud of what I was building and so exhausted by what it was costing me.
Through a tear-filled conversation with my coach, I decided it was time to sell my company.
2018–2019
I went all in on ThriveHive—bouncing from niche to niche, trying to be everything to everyone, struggling to gain traction.
Then I launched Pinpoint Your Purpose to 1000 women who showed up because no one had asked them what they actually wanted in years. I knew we were onto something real.
2020–2023
COVID hit. So did the "She-Cession." Faced with a choice about who we are really here to serve, I found my answer in the women who never wanted to go back after being laid off and furloughed and our Passport program was born.
We taught Passport live across 18 cohorts. Tweaked, refined, and perfected every single element until we had the best results and client experience on the market.
2024-2025
Our women generated over $8.1 million in new client revenue before ever graduating from Passport. Their results and our reviews reflected that we'd built a world-class program that worked.
2026
We relaunched the ThriveHive brand to reflect what we've become—the largest community of women consultants in the United States.
